Individual Therapy

While the term “family therapy” may give the impression I only work with families this is not the case.  Another name for family therapy is systemic psychotherapy.  This means I am trained to work with individuals, couples and families.   The “systemic” part means I work with individuals in terms of the systems they live in that may be causing difficulty for them.  Put simply this means a person may have problems in the relationship with their partner, their work colleagues, their friends or extended family.  These difficulties may lead to a person showing signs of stress, anxiety or depression.   I can help individuals deal with family dilemmas and build more successful relationships without having other members of their family present.

Past clients have reported they are communicating better in their relationships, have less stress or anxiety and are more confident.
